Some more information required please
Hi,
Following on from my Midi thread and HM's inability to feedback, I looked into using OSC as that has 'some' feedback as was shown as an improvement in the 2.10.0 release feedback in a forum post.
- Implemented OSC feedback from assignable Sequencer elements
Could some help docs be posted about this. I can see the feedback IP address option but have no clue as to what is fed back or what. Assignable sequencer elements does not help.
BTW: I have set a sequencer element (What ever that is) to respond to OSC but do not see any feedback.
Please improve the remote control documentation.
Regards.

Hi,
We're currently working on implementing default OSC addresses in the software, so the API documentation will be much more detailed when we release it and we'll make sure to add more detail about feedback.
In the meantime, which element(s) are you trying to get feedback from? HeavyM sends back the value to the same address that it learned. So if you've assigned "/slider1" to a 0 to 100 slider, when you change the value to 50 in HeavyM, it'll send back the argument "0.5" to the address "/slider1". Or if "/playSeq1" is assigned to the play of Sequence 1, HeavyM sends back arguments to the address ''/playSeq1": "1.0" if Sequence 1 starts playing and "0.0" when another sequence starts playing.
Hope that can help for now.
PS: spoiler, we're also working on MIDI Out for 2.11.

Hi, and thanks for this detail. The OSC I now have a better control of having relaised that it needs to be a float type or the message is ignored. I will try the feedback, thanks.
The Midi feedback looks great, so look forward to 2.12.
Regards.
