    Hey,

We have (finally) uploaded the first ready-to-use TouchOSC templates for HeavyM 2.11 using the OSC API.

You'll find them at the top of the OSC API article. They are customizable and made to be easily copy-pasted from, so you can retrieve objects in them to build your own templates.

Hope you'll like them, let us know what you'd like next!

Thanks for the kind words and the details mrcidavies.

I think for our first OSC templates we'll have one that focuses on group effects and one on Live playback (sequencer controls and masters), in tablet format. We're trying to make them so that it's easy to copy/paste elements to create your own or resize the format.

For MIDI colors, all controllers that are compatible with MIDI Out will have some kind of color response. To get the correct sequence color correspondance, we have followed the velocity to color chart for the Akai APC40 MKII and Novation Launchpad so we know it works for these, but indeed we haven't listed which other models follow the same conversion table. Thanks for the feedback.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi,

Thanks a lot for the kind words and support!

We indeed have a few touchOSC templates in preparation 👀

What kind of setup would you like to see in them? And for which screen resolution, more phone or tablet?

    Have a nice day!

Hi Lea and thanks for the reply.

It's great to know that you are planning this as a support resource. In an earlier version the teplate produced was very good, but I can see as the options become greater, which is good, the remote control of all the options becomes a greater and greater issue. It would be good to have some basic controls for use in a live situation, where you feel that secondary control gives the greatest benefit. Static displays have enough features with the sequencing and timeline, it's the 'live' situations that could really benefit with the remote option.

To answer your question I think a tablet (10-12") template would be my requirement, but I can see no way you could consider options for all needs.

As a side question re: 2.11 you show Akai equipment with button controls, but don't link to sepcific models that are compliant. This would be good.

Best regards and looking forward to what's next.

Hi Lea, and thanks for the update.

I personally use an Akai APC Mini, although it only has three colours It would ne nice to get this working. I will try it out and report back my findings.

    Regards.
