Multi Bank / Channel Midi Pad
HI,
I start mapping using a Pad (easycontrol.9 from, Worlde)
I can assign touch to the first "bank/channel" of my pad.
But it doesn't understand that I switch bank/channel
so doesn't matter which bank/channel I use, for Heavy M it's the same.
I use a Macbook M2 with the 2.11.1
any one have an idéa ?

Hi Adrien,
We don't have the same model at our disposal, could you tell us what kind of data your MIDI controller sends when you trigger the pads in different banks please?
I mean what does HeavyM receives in the Controls window here:
Thanks in advance, have a nice day!

Hi,
Thanks for your quick responses.
On the setting i can see :
My device name : worlde easy ctrl
Then
Channel / control / value
Are empty.
And i can’t modifie them.
After In « control » i can see all my assigments
all the assignments are on chanel 1
Even when i change the channel on the pad.
Sincerly

Indeed channel / control / value cannot be modified, they are only here to display the data HeavyM receives when you trigger something on your controller. If, when you click on a pad in bank 1, you see that it sends the same exact channel / control than the same pad in bank 2, then HeavyM cannot make a difference between both so it will think it is the same pad.
- Is there an editor/software associated with your MIDI controller that could let you customize what each pad sends?
- Have you tried in another software? We are not aware of any bug on the data that HeavyM receives at the moment, it should be accurate that it is the same channel / control.
Hope that helps.

Adrien,
This is a unit similar to the one I have by Korg and it has an Editor to vary and set the keys / banks etc. Your unit is covered here https://www.worlde.com.cn/list_20_2/
There are also some videos to assist see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAX1nDAZn0c
Hope it helps as I also find the midi implementation in HM tricky to grasp.
