Switching media associated with a player
Hello,
We are creating our Halloween and Christmas shows again. Everything is mapped, unfortunately, the exported video is still not in sync with the audio; the exported audio and video are more and more out of sync as the file is played (ie after 10 min they are ~5-6 seconds off). We want to explore using different formats (ie MOV, etc.) but we have 15 sequences on our timeline with 7 media players. To update the media player with the new source videos in each sequence is time consuming (ie delete the source media from the 'bin', add the new media, and then associate the media to the right player in each sequence).
Is there an easy way to update the media for each player so it carrier through to all the sequences? Also any recommendations for screen capture software? Hoping to not go down that route but we may do that or run the old version of HeavyM...which we still have. Just wish the video export ran as well as the one in the old HeavyM...

Argh. Love it when I can answer my own question. Looks like we can delete the associated media from the source folder, add the new media, and then restart HeavyM. It asks us to pick the right new media files and then links everything back up.
Running a test with MOV files and also thinking about trying to run HeavyM on a Mac to see if the export works better there. Unless someone else knows already...

Hi,
Sorry for the inconvenience. We're going to look into it.
- Are you using 2.11.4 and is that the same issue exactly as you had with 2.9?
- Is the audio you're referring to added to the Timeline for the export?
- If you could send us a drive link for your project files like last time that'd be great. We'll be able to see how your project is cut and try on our side.
Thanks in advance, have a nice day.
As for recording options, a few tools that can help are Spout Recorder, NDI Screen Capture, OBS,...

Thanks Lea.
I sent an email to the support@heavym.zendesk.com address. Let me know if you don't get it.
Thanks again for looking at this.
