    Hi,

It seems there might be an issue in the Special and Structure effects.

The correct behavior is the same as if you were clicking with your mouse pointer. In all group effects, parameters are shared between all effects in the same tab: if you change the Speed value in Special - Hyptonic, it also changes for all other effects in the Special tab that have a Speed value (Stripes, Double Stripes, Mosaic). So to take your Color example, the Plain color effect has a "Color" parameter that you don't find in other effects of the tab so it's independant, but Gradients share a "Colors" parameter.

It seems as though that's not how it behaves in the Special and Structure tabs for color assignments, that's probably why it's confusing.

    Have a nice day,

    Léa

    Lea,

So my understanding is that colours (and other 'single' options, speed etc) are effected across the tab. Options that are twin, i.e. colour gradient have separate colour controls, one each, again effected across the tab.

So what is the situation with the triple colour option? Is this the single one plus the two used in gradients?

See why we need docs to go with the new features as they are good and make adoption much easier. (Workloads accepted)

    Regards,

    Hi,

What do you mean by triple color option? Are you talking about Color - Random?
If so, the Colors & Weights parameter is on its own so it's not shared with anything, you can't find this parameter elsewhere.

    Have a nice day,

    Léa
