different videos on the same spot - HM1.x

Hi !

My question is for HM 1.x
I'd like to see different videos on the same spot, one after another.
I created a sequence with a video player and linked a movie file.

then I created another sequence. I changed the movie file in the player. But it changed the movie in the first sequence !

Does that mean I need to place another video player in each sequence with a different movie file to achieve my goal ?

  Hi BenBen,

  To display different media in the same player in different sequences in HeavyM 1, you need to make their medias "independent". To do so, head over to Options -> Sequencer Modes... and untick the checkbox in the Players row / Media column. This way your player will stay the same, but the media will be different in each sequence.

  The Sequencer Modes have evolved over the years but this (kinda old) tutorial might help you understand them.
