Midi assignments

In the article on Midi assignments it says The MIDI assignments you set are directly saved in your .hm project file.

Does this mean that every project you have to reassign the midi controls?

Can the midi assignment not be saved under a separate file that can be reloaded when needed?

  Hello,

  Yes you understood correctly. For now MIDI and Keyboard controls can't be saved as a separate file.

  A workaround would be to create your controls in an empty project and use it as a kind of template everytime you need them. We understand the inconvenience and intend to make it easier in a future release.

  Hi Léa,

  Thanks for the prompt response. I was considering your suggestion this as a way of maintaining the mapping, thanks. Hope it gets a review soon along with adding OSC.
