    Hey everybody,

Multi-select is now also available for shaders in 2.4.0 :)

It works when importing shaders in the sources panel, player effects or sequence effects.

    Hello Clive,

About adding shaders in the source bin, you're totally right, HeavyM 2 does not support it. Thanks for sharing your idea with us! I’ve just added your suggestion to discuss it further with the team.

However, for other media types like images or videos, The multi select feature is available on Windows and it seems to work well. We have tested it with our technical team on several computers following your request but we don't notice any particular problem.

We will keep an eye on it. Sorry for the trouble here :/

In the meantime, you can always drag & drop one or more media from your Windows explorer into the source bin, without clicking on the + button.

This also works for playlists. Start by adding a playlist from the + button of the sources bin. The playlist source is located at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
Once the playlist is created, the source bin will automatically open your playlist, which is still empty at this stage.
Then open your Windows explorer and drag & drop your media in the playlist.

Hope this helps! Please, let me know if you have other questions.

    Claire

    Claire,

Thanks for the update on this. I must admit I was trying Shaders and incorrectly assumed that videos etc would be the same as the UI is the same, but I have tested and as you say it works on all except shaders. If the team could look into this it would be a great option.

    Many thanks.
