OSC Commands

Hi,

the OSC and Midi Command Section are totaly imcomplete. I'm missing a lot of effects to control with OSC and Midi like:

-- All Color Effects

-- "old" Repeater now Duplications (Number / Offsets)

-- All Path Directions

-- Color (Plain / Gradient / Random)

-- Specials

-- Snake Effects

-- Structure (Instances / Effects)

-- Groups / Layers

 

Its impossible with Version 2, to play a Live VJ Set. I have to use Version 1 to play live next to a DJ.

Thats really bad and dissapointing.

What is the actual benefit of HeavyM 2 vs. HeavyM 1?

All the new Effects on Sequencers are in my eyes useless because Im doing a lot of pixel perfect Projection Mappings on selfdesigned structures. It doesnt make sense to put Effects on the whole Output.

Do you plan in future version to implement all the missing Midi and OSC stuff or have i stick with version 1?

  Hello goalist,

  I totally understand your frustration. Indeed, we know that many MIDI and OSC control elements are still missing in HeavyM 2, very sorry for this inconvenience :/

  We are planning to improve the MIDI and OSC features to make many more settings assignable.
  I can't give you a precise release date yet but it should come out by the end of the year :)
