Flash at beginning of video loop

Hi Can anyone please advise me. I have a very simple video loop which simply starts with a black screen then quickly fades up to white with a number displayed. I load this into a player and set the video to RESTART and to STOP at the end. However as soon as the sequence starts I see a flash of the full white screen with the number and then it starts the fade up. It is as if the very first thing it is doing is showing a quick flash of the last frame before starting. I'm preparing for a large event next week and would really appreciate any help in sorting this out. Thank you.

Sorry for the late reply and the inconvenience. You've described it correctly, this is a bug and we're working on it at the moment. It'll be fixed for the next release, unfortunately it won't be in the next few days.

Thanks Lea. I have managed to hide it using transitions but it would be great to get a fix for that soon as it takes some time to get the transition timings just right. My show on two large buildings takes place at 5pm tonight so Im just making final adjustments at the moment.

We totally get the frustration James! We found the source of the issue and it will be fixed for 2.6 (planned for January). I'll try to update this post once it's released to keep everybody updated on this. Thanks for understanding.
