Audio in sources
Hi. Maybe a stupid question but, I don't know how to do it.
Does it possible to get the audio in analysis from another software in the same computer. I see audio in sources from external device only.
For example in Mac, I want to get the audio in from I tunes....
Thank you, Daniele.

Hi Daniele.
Yes, it's possible.
You'll need :"SoundFlower" kernel extension (free):
https://rogueamoeba.com/freebies/soundflower/
And "LoopBack" (Not free):
https://rogueamoeba.com/loopback/
-First you install Soundflower. Once installed it will appear everywhere in your computer where you have a "sound" option. It will appear then in HeavyM:
-Then you open "LoopBack". Start by creating a "new virtual device" (low left), then in the "sources" first column, click "+" an create a new source, choose "iTunes". In the second column you can choose your audio channels if you have more than two, if not, do nothing and leave it like that. In the third column "monitors", click "+" an choose soundflower. It will look like this:
Now you have your iTunes playing thru your computer speakers AND Soundflower at the same time.
Go to HeavyM. In the Audio Analysis input choose 'Soundflower". Done.CHEERS

Daniele, I've just realized there's an easiest way:
Just open "Loopback" and choose "Itunes" as source. Create a monitor output. That's all. Then go to HeavyM and select "Loopback" in audio analysis:
CHEERS
