MacBook M1 vs M1 pro
-
Hi Juan,
It ultimately depends on the complexity of your projects, but the M1 chip is already part of the recommended configuration to use HeavyM 2!
One thing would be to make sure to check the capacity of each chip model regarding external display, if you intend to use multiple high resolution outputs.
Have a nice day!

Hi, from the specifications of Apple M1 for the MacBook Air the video output would be only one, I read that MacBook Pro M1 apart from the cooling should be the same.
Do you have any news about usb-c peripherals that use "DisplayLink" technology to have 2 or more video outputs manageable with HeavyM 2.7?0 -
Hi Cristian,
Sorry for the late reply. We haven't run any test with this technology or know much about these kind of adapters at the moment I have to say. The technical team will see if they can find more information to give you.
Have a nice day!

Hi again,
After some research it seems that how it's integrated in MacOS means that it *should* work in HeavyM 2.7, but we can't guarantee it as we haven't tried on our side yet.
Have some of you tried DisplayLink devices and can report on their experience maybe?
Thanks in advance.
