Suspend microphone

Hi.

I am having an issue linking Ableton to HeavyM. I can effectively link, though Heavy M always detect external noise with he built in microphone., is the any way to mute the microphone and get the sound directly from Ableton?

  Hi,

  Not sure if that exactly what you are looking for, but depending on the platform you're on, there are solutions to route audio from the computer directly into HeavyM.

  On Windows, look for Stereo Mix in the input/record tab of the sound settings panel. On Mac, there's no native solution, but you can try a routing app like Soundflower (check out this user's quick tutorial!).

  Thanks for your reply, I actually got it to work after reading the tutorial you linked. Though, I did not use soundflower, only loopback.
