Newbie questions
I just have a couple of starter questions with answers I can't find in the tutorials.
1. Can the timeline hold more than one audio track? Let's say I want different sequences to play for different song.
2. Is there a way to trim a sequence to match the length of the audio, or do I need to adjust the duration of each sequence?
The timeline would be so much easier to use if it functioned like a video editor.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi,
Thank you for your message.

It’s not possible to add more than one track to the timeline. If you need to play multiple tracks, you’ll need to use an external editor to combine them into a single track.
-
You will need to adjust the duration of each sequence individually.
Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or requests. I’m here to help!

That's doable. But I can't seem to find where I adjust the duration of each sequence.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
You need to click on the cogwheel, then choose the duration in the “Timeline length” section (here is a tutorial about sequencer).

I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused. I need to adjust the duration of each sequence that I put in the timeline, but not the timeline itself.

Hello,
thank you for your feedback.
If I understand correctly what you want to do, you can create several sequences, then drag and drop them onto your timeline.
Once they're on your timeline, you can configure the timestamp in the “Cue settings” box.
I hope I've answered your question.
I remain at your disposal.

Thanks! As I continue working on my project, a couple more questions have popped up.
First of all, I want my project to run on its own without me manually having to turn things on/off. In one portion of my timeline, there is a section of music where there is a black out and 3 beats. I have 3 shapes (faces) on the screen that I want to be blacked out. When the first beat hits, I want the first shape to light up and then go black. On the second beat, I want the second shape to light up and then go black. Same thing for the third.
So picture a black screen... you hear the beats and see only the shape for that beat light up on at a time.
Do I need to create 3 separate sequences for each shape or is there an easier way to accomplish this? Keep in mind, the music track changes, so I don't want to assign anything to the tempo.
I hope this makes sense. Thank you

Thank you for your message.
You have clearly understood the problem and the solution you have indicated seems to me to be the best.

Thank you for the help. Another question:
I would like a border that "traces" the edges of each object, like a line border, but it moves one time around as if the line is tracing the shapes. Is that possible?

Hello,
I'm not sure I understand what you're looking for.
Is it this type of line? which advances little by little on each side?
