video mapping question

for an art instillation im making i want a animation mapped onto a piece on the wall which if fine and can do but i then also want to map a video onto the surrounding wall everywhere but the peice on the wall how would i do this as i am new to this software.

  Thank you for your message.

  You can start by creating a first group that contains your player, then a second group with your shape.

  If your shape is not solid and, depending on the effect, the player remains visible, you can copy the shape into the first group and use it as a mask under the shape in the second group.
