What are the issues with protocol output and input? Can it be linked to control other hardware or software?

This is my first time using this software, and its creativity is very high. I checked its manual and found that for the OSC, DMX, MIDI protocols, can they only accept commands and cannot actively issue these commands to control other devices or software? Or does the trial version not have these features? How can I achieve HeavyM to actively control other devices? Is there any good way?

  Hello,

  Thank you for your message.

  The demo version has no limitations, so anything that isn’t possible with the demo will also not be possible with the full version.

  MIDI Out will only send color information to the controller.
  For OSC, there is feedback available, but not full control — it mainly allows you to send status updates.
  There is a free software called Chataigne(https://stereolux.org/agenda/chataigne), which you can use to customize commands more precisely.

  As for DMX, we are currently working on this feature in collaboration with a third-party service. It will allow messages to be sent from an external box. We will share more information as the development progresses.
