The AI Generator allows you to create custom images or animation loops directly inside HeavyM.You can generate visual content adapted to your mapping by combining a text prompt with a reference image from your project.
Note: an Internet connection is required to generate content. Once the image or loop has been generated and downloaded, you no longer need to be online to use it inside your project.

Accessing the Generator
You can open the AI Generator from the Sources panel:
- Open the Sources panel on the right side of the interface.
- Click on the + button.
- Select AI Image or loop.
- The generation window appears.
Generation Window Overview
The AI Generator window includes:
- a Prompt field,
- a Reference image section,
- and a Preview area.
You can use the dice icon to generate random prompt suggestions.
Generating content
Preparing your project
a. Resolution requirements
The AI Generator works exclusively in 1920×1080.
Verify that:
- Your Canvas resolution is set to 1920×1080,
- Your Reference image or project Map also uses this resolution.
b. Reference Image
You must select a reference image before generating content.
You can:
- import an image from your computer,
- or use the Maps of your project.
For optimal results, use high-contrast images such as grayscale maps.
Black areas will not be interpreted for projection.
Setting up the generation
Before launching a generation:
- Enter a prompt,
- Select a reference image.
- Then choose the output type:
- Image

Loop (4-second video)
Previewing and exporting
The generation occurs in two steps:
- A preview of the result is displayed.
- The final image or loop is generated and downloaded automatically.
During the process, you can choose to:
- add the generated media to your Sources,
- and/or create a new Player linked to this source.
Token Management
Token usage and refills are managed from your HeavyM account.
